The Launch recap; season 2 episode 6.

**WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD**

Feeling "Emotional", because it's the last episode of The Launch this season? (See what I did there?!) I know I am - this season was filled with so much talent. This episode, celebrity mentors; Scott Borchetta and Marie-Mai, were joined by Bebe Rexha, and the producer of the song to be launched, Nile Rodgers, who has worked with legendary artists.

The Launch season 2 episode 6

The pop artist, from Ottawa, Ontario, tells her story and how she had this big dream of performing on stage with Lady Gaga, and the dream became a reality. Michelle then got signed with a record label, but sadly got dropped by them, then regained her determination and kept doing what she loves. She sang "River" by Bishop Briggs, and her original song, "Ashes to Ashes". The mentors were really impressed with her passion for music, and her voice, of course.

From Victoria, British Colombia, Adrian explains how much music means to him. Ever since he had his daughter, he knew more than ever, that he wanted to pursue music. Adrian's in a band, called Tower and Trees, they're really cool too. He sang "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King, which Adrian says is "the best love song of all time". He killed it, and the mentors loved him.

You might notice her from the Disney Channel show; Lost & Found Music Studios! As soon as Sarah walked in the room, the mentors noticed her beautiful smile. You may think her smile's beautiful, but wait until you hear her voice, she sang "New Rules" by Dua Lipa, and even got pushed out of her comfort zone, but did an amazing job.

From Toronto, Ontario, the talented Del Hartley impressed the celebrity mentors by singing his original song, called "Closure". The mentors pictured the song in another way, so they tried it again, while Nile Rodgers played the guitar. You'll fall in love with his voice.

She's actually so talented, she'll definitely blow your mind. WILL explains how she's also a mother, and how it could be hard sometimes, but she keeps doing what she loves. She sang "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" by Whitney Houston, and her voice is so flawless.

The two artists who were chosen to create their own versions of "Emotional" in the studio, and perform it in front of the mentors, and an audience were WILL and Michelle Treacy!

All the other artists are super talented too, and the mentors definitely had a very hard choice to decide from. All the best!

PERFORMANCE TIME!

Michelle Treacy was the one to be launched. You did great and deserve this so much! Also, congrats to WILL, for making it that far, you're awesome and I can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve next!
