The Launch recap; season 2 episode 3.

**WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!!**

This episode, 'Down To The Roots' was the song to be launched, produced by Jon Levine, who has worked with Bebe Rexha, Selena Gomez and many other of your favorite singers. Max Kerman, as known as Max from the Arkells was a special guest mentor, as well as the lovely Marie-Mai, and Scott Borchetta.

The Launch season 2 episode 2

graceful Polina Grace.

First up was the 24 year-old singer from Montreal, Quebec, originally from Russia. She introduced herself to the mentors by speaking french and making Marie-Mai feel at home. Polina sang 'I'd Rather Go Blind' by Etta James, and her raw vocals impressed them.

The groovy, Old Soul Rebel.

Made up of Chelsea and Lola, from Vancouver British Colombia, the duo sang 'It's a Man's Man's World' by James Brown. Lola shared a personal and sentimental situation, and had some luck from a feather, and her father, that and who means a lot to her.

The talented, James Clayton.

The singer / songwriter originally from Peterborough, Ontario, but now lives in Montreal, Quebec, explains that music is his number one thing - it's all he wants to do, and he's pretty darn good at it! James sang his original song; Daze and the mentors felt like he had ''more of a voice'' inside of him, so Max played the piano while James sang 'Running On Empty' by Jackson Browne, and ended up wow-ing the mentors even more.

Fall in love with Charlie The Kid.

Originally from Toronto, Ontario, explains how he had no one to book his shows, and how he did that all by himself, and look where he is now! As Charlie said; "normally, you'll find me busking or playing at a bar somewhere, but today, I'm gonna play the biggest gig of my life."

He earned the mentors hearts by his sense of humor, and his talent, of course.

Sweet Saveria.

The 21 year-old from London, Ontario talks about how she was a part of the Mini Pop Kids and how she's been doing this her whole life, and also might make you tear up about how much her mom means to her. She sang a cover of 'Born This Way' by Lady Gaga and definitely catches the mentors attentions, in the best way possible.

The artists chosen to go into the studio and record their own version of the song, and then perform it in front of a crowd. Both the songs turned out amazing, but only one could be launched.

Performance time!! Both their performances were powerful.

Saveria ended up being launched. Congrats girl!! And also a huge congrats to Old Soul Rebel, for making it that far. You both killed it!
