After catching the attention of many music listeners and being featured on many Spotify playlists, the music duo from the United Kingdom put out their second single of this year, titled He's 31. The song will be on their sophomore album, which will be released in late October. See tour dates below.
The single speaks to teenagers, mostly, being that it's inspired by the expectations versus reality of relationships. The singer Star Kendrick explains; “Trying to balance expectations and disappointment seems to have been a bit of a theme the last few years for me. I guess this song is a love song about disappointment. When writing it I felt very raw & upset which I think comes through in the lyrics. Music has always been that space for me; where you can take all your disappointments/expectations and then try to make something of them. Feel pretty lucky to have that.” The group puts the less fun parts of being in love, in a fun and catchy way.
