Beckon Fire is a three piece pop/electronic band from Sunshine Coast, Australia. They find a way of attracting new listeners, with their catchy tunes and powerful lyrics. Just releasing their debut EP, featuring singles that were released previously, the Australian band plans to take over the world, bit by bit.

---> Hi! We are Beckon Fire from Sunshine Coast, Australia. We are a pop/electro band.

Where did the name of the band come from?
---> Lewis loves a band called Closure In Moscow and they have a song called 'Beckon Fire' and it just stuck cause of what it stands for. Beckon Fire sounds very positive.
You're also from Australia! What are the pros and cons about being a band from there?
---> We love living in Australia and feel very blessed to live where we live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland! The music scene around here is pretty small though, as a pose to living in a large capital city, but honestly the support from Australians towards any genre of music is second to none!

The first video you posted online, as a band, was a cover of
'1-800-273-8255', what inspired you all to choose that song?
---> The reason we did this cover is because we love what it stands for. We've all lost friends to suicide from depression and it's heartbreaking.. We wanted to send a message out there that no one is alone, and let our friends that have passed know that we are always thinking of them.
Judging from your singles; 'Tired Eyes', 'This is a War', 'Lonely', and 'Get Me out Alive', do you think your sound has evolved already?
---> We believe we will always evolve, we wrote these songs a while ago now and the ideas we have for our next stuff, we think we'll just keep improving.
This EP (Truth Of Our Youth) shows that we have been in a few ups and downs in past relationships and life in general, that a lot of people can relate to what we've written/created.
You recently released your debut EP, how did you come up with the album cover? And how do all the songs connect to each other?
---> Yeah we did!! Our album is called 'The Truth Of Our Youth' and it is out worldwide!
The album cover, Joey and Lewis organized before Todd was officially in the band. Our songs can relate to what a lot of people are going through or have been through, so that's where we got the title from. The zombie dude with the phone was Joey's idea, and it portrays how we all are these days through social media.

---> Fans are the best cause without them then where'd we be! We love you from the bottom of our hearts and thanks so much for your support, we hope we can keep writing and creating tunes you love <3
